Lirik "Part of Your World" - OST Disney's The Little Mermaid

Waktu yang ditunggu-tunggu akhirnya tiba, mengingat original soundtrack film Disney's The Little Mermaid bertajuk "Part of Your World" telah rilis di platform streaming pada Jumat, 19 Mei 2023. Awalnya, lagu ini dilantunkan oleh Jodi Benson yang merupakan pengisi suara karakter Ariel pada 1989.

Namun, kini terdapat nuansa serta lirik baru "Part of Your World" yang dihadirkan Lin-Manuel Miranda serta dinyanyikan oleh Halle Bailey. Sebelumnya pada 26 April 2023, lewat kanal YouTube Disney Music VEVO juga telah menayangkan versi visualizer video yang mendapat 5,6 juta views. 

Akan tetapi, pada 15 Mei 2023 kemarin lagu "Part of Your World" mendadak viral di media sosial karena dibawakan oleh Halle Bailey secara langsung untuk pertama kalinya. Diketahui, kalau Halle Bailey yang notabene pemeran utama Disney's The Little Mermaid, membawakan lagu tersebut begitu megah di Disneyland. 

Respon warganet saat melihat penampilan Halle Bailey menyanyikan "Part of Your World" berbanding jauh dari penayangan teaser film Disney's The Little Mermaid. Kali ini Halle Bailey menuai banyak pujian, hingga ada yang menganggap kalau bakat tersebut lebih dari cukup untuk membuktikan bahwa ia sosok yang sempurna untuk memerankan film arahan sutradara Rob Marshall. 

Sejauh ini, video penampilan Halle Bailey menyanyikan "Part of Your World" telah mencapai lebih dari 3,1 juta views di YouTube. Sementara, untuk penayangan film live action Disney's The Little Mermaid tayang di bioskop Indonesia pada 24 Mei 2023.
