Zendaya Raih Piala Pertamanya, Ini Pemenang Golden Globe Awards 2023
Perhelatan The 80th Golden Globe Awards 2023 telah berlangsung pada Selasa malam (10/1/2022) waktu setempat, di The Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, California. Para aktor-aktris, sutradara, produser, kreator, dan sejumlah artis papan atas Hollywood mendatangi ajang tersebut dengan Jerrod Carmichael sebagai pemandu acaranya. Golden Globe Awards 2023 ini disiarkan langsung melalui NBC dan Peacock.
Ajang penghargaan ini diproduksi oleh Dick Clark Productions dan Jesse Collins Entertainment, yang berasosiasi dengan Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). Pada acaranya berlangsung, Eddie Murphy hadir untuk menerima 2023 Cecil B. DeMille Award bersamaan dengan Carol Burnett Award.
Salah satu aktris ternama yang membintangi serial drama Euphoria, yakni Zendaya, berhasil meraih piala Golden Globe pertamanya dalam kategori Best Actress in a Television Series — Drama, untuk perannya di Euphoria. Akan tetapi, ia terlihat tidak menghadiri ajang penghargaan tersebut untuk menerima pialanya.
Alhasil, presenter Glen Powell dan Jay Ellis yang mewakilkan dirinya untuk menerima penghargaan tersebut di Golden Globe 2023. Diketahui, Zendaya menjadi pemenang pertama yang tidak menghadiri acara pada Selasa malam itu.
