RM BTS seperti tiada henti menuangkan idenya dalam bermusik. Lantaran, kali ini ia diketahui berkolaborasi membuat lagu dengan vokalis band SE SO NEON yakni So!YoON! atau Hwang So-yoon. Lagu bertajuk "Smoke Sprite" yang muncul bersama music video ini, secara perdana ditayangkan lewat kanal YouTube 새소년 SE SO NEON, pada 14 Maret 2023 pukul 18.00 KST atau 16.00 WIB.
"Smoke Sprite" jadi karya leader BTS yang cukup mengejutkan penggemar, apalagi saat teaser lagu ini baru diunggah lima hari jelang perilisan. Sebenarnya, "Smoke Sprite" jadi lagu utama dari album studio kedua milik So!YoON! berjudul Episode1: Love. Sekaligus, jadi next song dari album solo debut self-title So!YoON! yang rilis pada tahun 2019.
RM turut jadi co-writer dan co-composer
Dalam penggarapan lagu ini, Kim Nam-joon turut menjadi co-writer and co-composer. Lewat klip "Smoke Sprite", kita bisa mendengar betapa kentalnya genre musik Korean Indie Rock. Serta, warna gelap yang cukup mendominasi tema music video berdurasi 4:03 menit ini.
Sejak resmi ditayangkan, MV "Smoke Sprite" di YouTube telah menduduki trending 15 dengan menarik perhatian 1,9 juta penonton. Lalu, terpantau berada di trending nomor satu Worldwide iTunes Song Charts. Penasaran dengan lagunya? Nyanyi bareng, yuk, Bela.
