"Stuck In The Middle" sendiri merupakan sebuah lagu ballad manis yang dinyanyikan dalam bahasa Inggris. Kabarnya, single ini merupakan sebuah pengantar menuju EP perdana mereka yang rencananya dirilis April nanti. Ahyeon yang tengah hiatus karena masalah kesehatan pun akan segera kembali.

Lagu ballad pertama BABYMONSTER
Sebagaimana ciri khas musisi asal YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER tampil swag dalam "BATTER UP" November 2023 lalu. Mereka tampil memukau dengan rap dan tarian yang menonjol untuk ukuran grup rookie (pendatang baru).
Kali ini, BABYMONSTER mencoba konsep yang cukup berlawanan. "Stuck In The Middle" menjadi lagu ballad manis pertama dalam diskografi mereka. Dinyanyikan sepenuhnya dalam bahasa Inggris, grup ini mencoba mengungkapkan rasa cinta yang juga bisa dimengerti oleh penggemar dari berbagai negara.
Pengantar menuju EP perdana bersama Ahyeon
Perilisan "Stuck In The Middle" diumumkan secara langsung oleh pendiri YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk. Dalam video yang diunggah pada 24 Januari lalu itu, ia mengungkap bahwa BABYMONSTER akan merilis EP perdana mereka pada 1 April mendatang. "BATTER UP" dan "Stuck In The Middle" juga akan disertakan di dalamnya.
Kabar gembira, Ahyeon yang hiatus karena masalah kesehatan akhirnya kembali. Yang Hyun Suk membeberkan Ahyeon sudah mulai melakukan rekaman dan suaranya juga akan muncul di "BATTER UP" dan "Stuck In The Middle" versi terbaru.
"Ahyeon sudah pulih sepenuhnya dan dia sedang melakukan rekaman untuk album. ... Album akan direkam ulang dengan tujuh member termasuk Ahyeon. Untuk album mini yang akan datang, kalian bisa menantikan aktivitas BABYMONSTER sebagai grup yang lengkap dengan tujuh member," ujar Yang Hyun Suk.
Tak cuma itu, ia akan mengerahkan tim produksi album yang mulanya berjumlah 10 orang menjadi 40-50 orang. Dengan langkah ini, Yang Hyun Suk berharap BABYMONSTER bisa merilis EP pada April dan album studio sekitar musim gugur mendatang. Wah, nggak sabar!
